Che cos’è danzare se non mettersi in cammino, curiosi dei nuovi margini che l’arcipelago del corpo  lascia apparire? Se non porsi sulla soglia della caduta e lasciare che le infinite figure inscritte nel corpo si manifestino nell’incontro con la narrazione articolare? Dunque l’uomo che danza edifica lo spazio dell’incerto con tutta la precisione possibile, cercando di dare un contorno a ogni cosa sconosciuta e incompiuta, inseguendo l’unità come principio di ogni cosa. Così il tratto di tempo che chiamiamo danza altro non è che lo spazio dell’incontro tra uomo e natura. Le danze in serie che compongono Isolotto si aprono alle coincidenze per esplorare le infinite diramazioni del corpo, quasi a ripercorrere – nell’impossibilità di esserci – tutte le fasi di crescita dell’uomo, tutti i tratti della vita. A partire dalle azioni primarie – camminare a quattro zampe, alzarsi, inchinarsi, voltarsi – la gravità si fa sostanza dello sguardo dando luogo a un atlante inedito sul corpo della danza.

What is dance if not getting in the way, being curious of the new margins that the archipelago of body leaves appear? Stood on the threshold of the fall and let the endless figures inscribed in the body reveal themselves in the encounter with the articulated narrative. So the man who dance builds an uncertain space with all the possible precision, trying to give an outline to all the unknown and unfinished, chasing the unit as a principle of everything. As we celebrate harmony as a condition of the sense and mixture of things in the sea of emotions, the stretch of time that we call dance is nothing more than the encounter between man and nature. The dances in series that compose this Isolotto open themselves to the coincidences, to explore the infinite ramifications of the body, as if to retrace – in the impossibility to be there – all the stages of human growth, all segments of life. Starting from the primary actions – walk on all fours, get up, bow, turn around – gravity becomes the substance of the gaze: the result is an unpublished atlas about the dancing body.
